FLATS,EYES & US

While I was reading yet another intresting book 'Satanic Versus' by Salman Rushdie,I saw a beautiful expression to express not a beautiful thing for nature lovers, namely The Flats.He wrote, Flats are the tombstones which mark the grave of the old city which lies beneath it.
Yesterday my sister phoned me up and told "'Chettaa'(brother),Iam having severe headache after reading for so much time for my exams." I told her to look to the greenary outside so that her eyes will be relaxed. She replied to my suggestion by laughing so loudly, she told me that I was so foolish to tell that because she could see only tall flats(tomb stones!!!!) while looking through the window.
I meditated about it and I got an intresting thought - we study so much, gain degrees, get jobs.... But we should be careful that these things shouldnot be build such a way that it will become a flats ( tomb stones) on our Child like innocense and good virtues of our heart. I again quote Paulo Coelho "If you lose the contact with the child in you , you lose your contact with life"
